The only thing constant is change.
To go a step further, success can in fact be sustained only through proper succession.
Today's landmark session saw two successions today - that of people and that of process.
People succession:
Today was election day for selecting the Core Committee for 2018-19. The process went through without a hitch, efficiently conducted by MTM Panna as Election Chair and TM Kumar, DTM Verma and TM Vignesh as Nomination Committee.
The due processes were concluded quite quickly and smoothly as all the posts were uncontested. The final Excom members were:
The due processes were concluded quite quickly and smoothly as all the posts were uncontested. The final Excom members were:
- President - TM Rajat
- VP-E - TM Chaitanya
- VP-M - TM Venkat
- VP-PR - TM Ramalingam
- Secretary - MTM Swati
- Treasurer - TM Bhaskaran
- SAA - TM Viswanathan
- Immdt past president - MTM Panna
In his address, the President elect TM Rajat shared a few of the dreams that the club should see during 2018-19:
- Membership strength of over 50
- Meeting attendance of over 70%
- President's Distinguished Club status
- 2 DTAC winners
- Being a mentor to a new club in the area
Congratulations to the Excom elect, who will take over from 1st July 2018. Converting these dreams to reality will be a worthwhile challenge.
Process succession:
Pathways is here to stay. The old process of CC and CL manuals are being succeeded by a seamless succession of projects that proceed on all fronts depending on the learning needs of the member.
The first 3 people from RTC - TM Bhaskaran, TM Anand and MTM Swati - who have already plunged into Pathways were awarded pioneering pins by DTM Robin Anand, PQD.
The PQD team led by DTM Robin Anand held a live demo session today, explaining the initial steps to be undertaken in order to enter the portals of Pathways, by selecting the path specific to the member and then proceeding on to the initial projects. It was immensely useful for all members as many were confused as to the logic of the screen progressions.
Session no. 123 has thus ensured that all numbers for the club will be on a increasing trend.
